Into a puddle,
She so easily jumped..
It didn't take much thought, it seemed..
She put on her jacket,
And saw the puddle..
Next, what do you know? She was right in between..
Colours were new,
Reflections were many..
All the time she kept looking around...
Slowly she noticed,
People were watching..
She tried to hide away in some bushes she found...
But then she came out,
And felt rejuvenated..
For it had been so long since she felt complete..
Comfort and loved,
She knew without a doubt
That what she now had was concrete..
She hugged herself with joy,
She ran around in full speed..
Feeling the wind on her face, oh so cold..
Blood pounding through her veins,
The warmth of the sun on her skin..
She relished as her happiness began to unfold..
She found something new,
She realised with great joy,
That she now had what had been missing..
She vowed to guard her treasure,
Hold it safe and near her..
And never, ever be caught reminiscing...
